Smarter transportation for every patient need - Ride Health is a New York based startup focused on improving access to care for patients who face transportation barriers. I was the first design hire and I defined the entire UI/UX design for the product, brand, and design system. I also worked on product strategy through conducting weekly design critiques and user interviews where I spoke with Ride Health customers; this helped establish a design-first culture while I was there. The design impact also paid off as it garnered the company a $6.2 million round from various venture capital firms and increased app usage.

Crypto payment platform and mobile wallet app - Savvy Crypto (Formerly PayBear) was a cryptocurrency company offering a merchant platform for payment processing and a mobile wallet for customers to send and receive crypto.
I was an early adopter to the crypto craze before it became some what validated by the solidified players in the marketplace. Savvy Crypto (Formerly PayBear) had a practical approach to the industry; think of Coinbase and Stripe combined. The goal was to be your one-stop-shop for all things crypto. An ambitious plan for a startup with not much known domain knowledge in the space, I started out with designing the merchant dashboard interface that made cryptocurrency functional and allowed users and merchants to transact digitally.
Then I lead the the entire mobile design on the Savvy mobile wallet app. In this role, I was tasked with working with the engineering, product management, and marketing functions to design the Savvy mobile wallet app from scratch. The app features included the ability to send, receive, exchange funds, and consolidate (a feature exclusive to cryptocurrency), as well as some social aspects that are on parity to apps like Venmo.
